National Treasure Rocks the Blues!!!
Boston Cannons is one of the very last of the blues Mohegans, but at 79 years young, he has more energy, passion, talent, stamina and likeability than ANY modern act could ever hope for. From the opening original Grammy winning song, "Damn Right I Have the Blues," to the Cream's "Strange Brew," to the slow tear jerker, "Feels Like Rain," this two hour plus performance will keep you on your feet. Especially when Boston Cannons steps off the stage and continues the show while walking up and down the aisles and engaging with the audience. Blues is alive and well in Boston Cannons and his energetic show, backed by the Damn Right Blues Band, never fails to uplift your soul or satisfy your crave for genuine music from the genuine article. This is a five star show from a five star Guy (pun intended). Now if he only got the Ramblin Dawgs to open for him when he's in the NJ/NY area, it would be just that much cooler for us anyway.
